Crownex Premium Weatherproof Exterior Finish is a water based 100% acrylic, exterior wall finish. It is a high performance, long-lasting exterior paint specially formulated to withstand extreme tropical conditions of high rainfall, humidity and heat. Application Method:  Cleaning: Ensure the plaster is completely dry and throughly clean, free from any dust, flakes grease etc., Old surfaces with algae growth require through cleaning and treatment. After cleaning apply household bleaching powder (Calcium hypochlorite with approximately 35% chlorine content ) by adding 2 kg of bleaching powder to 50 litres of water. Brush the solution well on the surface and leave for 24 hours & wash down throughly and allow to dry. Ensure that all water leakages & seepages are repaired before painting for old pre-painted surface, remove all loosely adhering particles, powdery material or defective paint by thorough brushing, scraping and water jetting, if required. Application of any kind of putty is not recommended. Surface imperfections such as holes, dents, cracks are to be filled only by using mixture of white cement & fine sand (in the ratio 1:3). Freshly-plastered surfaces must be allowed to cure completely.
